Words are very powerful! Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can break your minds, or make you think.
My honest opinion is that most people, you probably know a few, have no idea of the meaning of 80% of the words that they use to compose the words they speak. I just found out about 2 words that in my mind had different meanings. I even got out the Big Red Dictionary and looked them up. The first word was alphabetically at the front of the book, the other was towards the back. So the first word I looked up the first word, read it’s definition. Got it! I looked up the second word and its definition. Got it! Started writing with both definitions in my mind, and I got it! I got confused about which word to use here and there. So I started the Whole process over again. Same results times three. But,guess what? It was not until I wrote down both definitions and noticed that the words actually had very similar meanings. Week 2 lesson from the challenge I had is that “If it is not written down then it is not true.” I am taking notes.
